Whangarei Film Society Inc. screens a varied programme of high quality films. These include international festival releases, award winning documentaries, dramas, avant-garde and historic films.
We are an independent. not-for-profit film society, and may well be New Zealand's largest with an annual subscriptions of over 500 members!
A big bouquet to us all! In just 11 film nights, we have had an audience of 1,604 people. Our largest film audience has been 208 for LOVING VINCENT. And . . . on 9 films nights, we have had audiences of over 100 people.

‘Film Club’ at Forum North is the spot where film lovers gather for a drink and to meet friends before Thursday screenings between March and November. Film screenings for 2018 will either be in the Capitaine Bougainville Theatre or the Exhibition Hall at Forum North on Rust Avenue.
All residents and visitors to Whangarei are welcome at screenings. Door sales only.
