Synopsis:

Sandra (Cotillard) has just been released from hospital to find that she no longer has her former factory job. According to management, the only way she can hope to regain her position is to convince her co-workers to sacrifice their much-needed yearly bonuses. Over the course of one weekend Sandra confronts each co-worker individually to win a majority of their votes before time runs out.

Simple on the surface, this film is alive with compassion and wisdom, dealing with a relevant social inquiry and making a powerful statement of community solidarity.
