Drama centering on the relationship between two Estonian women living in Paris – the prickly, elderly Frida (screen legend Jeanne Moreau, Jules and Jim) and her carer, the mousy, middle-aged Anne (Laine Mägi). Soon after arriving, Anne realises that she is not wanted and Frida’s only desire from life is the attention of Stephane (Patrick Pineau), her younger lover from years ago. But Stephane is desperate for Anne to stay and share the burden, even against the old lady’s will. In this conflict of strangers, Anne finds her own way.
