TESTAMENT OF YOUTH is a powerful story of love, war, and remembrance, based on the WW1 memoir of Vera Brittain, which has become a classic testimony of that war from a woman’s pint of view. A journey from youthful hopes and dreams  to the edge of despair and back again, it’s a film of young love, the futility if war, and how to make sense of the darkest hours. Wonderfully performed and shot with poetic style and restraint, it is an epic film about a time of tragedy.
