Matariki Film Night

This heart-warming comedy is set in New Zealand in 1974. It follows Sisters Luke, Agnes and Mary-Clare, three elderly and highly unconventional nuns. They have a mission to secretly traverse the South Island to try to save their rundown convent from being sold to developers.

Also along for the trip is Brian, a young Māori boy from their community who’s dealing with the loss of his mother.

But when a freak snowstorm derails their journey, the group finds themselves confronting their own mortality and the power of forgiveness and connection.
