Whangarei Film Society Inc. screens a varied programme of high quality films. These include international festival releases, award winning documentaries, dramas, avant-garde and historic films.
We are an independent not-for-profit film society, and may well be the largest littlest film society in the land! We are proud of our annual subscription - over 500 members (2016 & 2017 seasons) - and are on track to breaking our record again this year ... & our weekly mail out reaches over 1400 subscribers!

‘Film Club’ at Forum North is the spot where film lovers gather for a drink and to meet friends before Thursday screenings between March and November. Film screenings for 2018 will either be in the Capitaine Bougainville Theatre or the Exhibition Hall at Forum North on Rust Avenue.
All residents and visitors to Whangarei are welcome at screenings. Door sales only.
