Whangarei Film Society Inc. screens a varied programme of high quality films. These include international festival releases, award winning documentaries, dramas, avant-garde and historic films.
We are an independent not-for-profit film society, and proudly claim to be "the largest littlest film society in the land"! We have an annual subscription - over 500 members - and as a volunteer organisation we are well supported by our local community with audience numbers often over 100 people for our film sessions.
. We are concluding our 2020 film season on Thursday 19 November with a social event from 5.30pm. Our final film ALL AT SEA will screen at 6.15pm in the Capitaine Bougainville Theatre.
Thank you for your continuing support of our film nights during the up’s n down’s of the COVID-19 level lockdowns. Your understanding and support is most appreciated
