Meet Sergio Chamy, the world’s most unlikely spy. Recently widowed this Chilean octogenarian answers a newspaper classified ad calling for a discreet elderly male competent with technology. After a successful interview, Sergio is briefed on the actual details of his covert mission. To go undercover for three months as a resident at the San Francisco Retirement Home. Firmly believing a client’s mother is being mistreated and even robbed, Sergio has to report back on anything that doesn’t look right to a detective agency. While he has little to no success in terms of his primary mission, his snooping uncovers some disturbing sights and practices, a serial criminal, but most poignantly, some reflective thinking about placing our loved ones into care.
