An effervescent documentary about the many lives of Lesley Lawson, better-known by her nickname Twiggy.
Initially dubbed “The face of ’66”, this documentary has Twiggy telling her own story.
From her working-class childhood in northwest London, through to her international stardom as a celebrity model, and her various other careers as an actor, singer, fashion designer, writer and TV presenter.
That, and everything else in between which made Dame Lesley Lawson the woman she is today.
“A beguiling portrait of female resilience from the waif with the trucker’s laugh.”
