WFS is an Incorporated Society. Its primary purpose is to show films, other than for financial gain.
The current WFS committee are Bridget O’Rourke (Chair, Website administrator & film handler), Kathie Brown (Secretary & Membership), Yvonne King (Treasurer, Bar licensee), Angela Lucas (Front of House), Geoff Bartlett (Publicity, Ticket Sales) and Naomi Foot (Membership, ticket sales).
WFS supports various film festivals in NZ – French, British, Irish, Show Me Shorts and The NZIFF. We often screen films from these festivals once they reach general distribution.
Our next movie screening can be found here.
In the Capitaine Bouganville Theatre – up the stairs from the main entry. There is also accessibility seating available in the theatre with access via the lift by the Forum North Office.
Our upcoming screenings are all listed on the Films page.
