Mahin is 70 and has been a widow for over 30 years. Added to that, her two children live abroad, so she lives an uneventful life in Tehran, where women’s rights are heavily restricted.
But one day, Mahin decides to join her visiting friends for an afternoon tea and a chance encounter with a taxi driver, Faramarz makes her feel alive again. With the beginnings of a spark in her heart, Mahin invites Faramarz to dinner (despite the prying and judgmental eyes of her neighbours) and their evening is one that brings unpredictable surprises and memories to treasure.
