Synopsis:
DRAMA:

From this years FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL . . .

Pierre ( Jean Dujardin) is a celebrated writer with a penchant for extreme experiences. He always does everything on his terms, when it suits him and with whom he chooses. One drunken evening he climbs the facade of a building and falls several storeys. The accident leaves him in a deep coma, and when he emerges he is barely able to stand. Against everyone’s advice he decides to hike alone across France – from Provence to Mont-Saint-Michel – along forgotten trails through some of France’s roughest, most inhospitable and beautiful regions.

Based on the award-winning autobiography by Sylvain Tesson – who also appears in the documentary, The Velvet Queen – ON THE WANDERING PATHS is a meditative story of healing, resilience and reconnection to nature and deep self.
