COMEDY | DRAMA | ROMANCE: France 2016
A wonderful, whimsical film about stalking. Living in a picturesque country town in France, shy hairdresser Vincent [Kyan Khojandi] spends his time running his salon and errands for his over-possessive mother [Anémone]. It’s on one of these occasions
that Vincent experiences a strange sense of déjà-vu when he meets the gaze of a
middle-aged shopkeeper Rosalie [Noémie Lvovsky ] and becomes intrigued to work
out why she’s familiar. Setting out to unravel the mystery, this random encounter changes the lives of Vincent, Rosalie and her estranged niece Aude [Alice Isaaz], who becomes
entwined delightfully in the proceedings.
Based on the graphic novel trilogy by French artist Camille Jourdy, the story is split into three parts, one from each character’s perspective. This original and tender story is
utterly charming and to avoid giving too much away, the less said the
better.
