Synopsis:

Enjoy the highlights from this year’s Show Me Shorts (SMS) Film Festival. It’s a selection of the most vibrant, fun and imaginative short films from NZ and around the world.

SMS is all about the connections between us. This year’s films include stories about a boxing nun, an AI robot, a dedicated teacher and a Palestinian man trying to return home.

There’s also some fun with an ambitious dad at a twirling competition and a maniacal ice-cream seller on the beach.

This year marks the SMS 20th anniversary, celebrating storytelling, creativity and connection through short films.
