News of Madeline’s vindication rapidly triggers a movement, with the courts scrambling to deal with women nationwide who are now inspired to rise up against  the oppressive men in their lives and to claim an equal standing in society.

“A script full of wit and performances bursting with panache. The movie pays tribute to the screwball comedies of the 1930s and is a joy from start to finish.” – Film Online
