Synopsis:

DRAMA | Comedy: 

Based on the book of the same name, the story follows Tom Michell, a British teacher who travels to South America to teach at a boys’ boarding school in Argentina in the 1970s. 

Whilst on holiday in Uruguay, Tom finds a beach with many dead oil-soaked penguins. Seeing one penguin still alive, he takes it to his hotel to clean and feed it, before releasing it the following day. But the penguin has other ideas and, with the school term starting, Tom takes the penguin with him and smuggles it into the school. And so, the lessons begin!
