Synopsis:

DRAMA

In Georgia, a retired history teacher, Lia has been working day and night to keep a promise to her now-dead sister. She has made it her mission to find her long-lost niece, Tekla.

Tekla disappeared some time ago, supposedly to Turkey. It happened when her husband insisted that Tekla leave and never return when she came out as trans.

In Istanbul, Lia does her best but struggles to make progress. It almost feels like Tekla doesn’t want to be found.

But then Lia meets Evrim, a lawyer who says she will use her contacts to help her find Tekla.
